BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

The Behavioral Health Services program offers comprehensive behavior health services utilizing Solution Focused, Client Centered treatment to assure success. We offer individualized treatment for addictive and mental health disorders in outpatient settings.

Screening and Assessments
All clients seeking behavioral health services are screened for mental health and substance abuse conditions.  This comprehensive assessment assists in the planning of further treatment and referral to appropriate resources.

Co-Occurring Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment
This service is offered to any age individual who suffers from a substance use disorder and mental health disorders.  The out-patient setting allows individuals to receive treatment while remaining in the community.

Mental Health Services
Treatment services for mental health are offered to any age individual who suffers from mental health symptoms or disorders.  Mental health services include individual and group sessions.  Referrals to an appropriate professional for medication management are available if needed.

Due to Covid-19 HELP’s Behavioral Health Services and all therapists are seeing clients via Telehealth utilizing secure video conferencing for individual sessions.  There are currently no in-person therapy sessions. To set up an appointment, please contact Jasmine at jcooper@helpsonv.org.

If you believe you or another individual is suffering a mental health crisis, seek medical attention immediately in an emergency room, call 911, or the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 998.
